Courtesy Notice (11 August 2021)
This is a courtesy notice. An individual on campus tested positive for COVID-19. If you/your child have been on campus the last two days, you are considered a NON-CLOSE contact. There is nothing you need to do at this time, but please read attached letter carefully.
If you have not already been notified that you/your child is a close contact, at this time, you/your child are NOT considered a close contact with a person who recently tested positive for the virus.

Please note that we work diligently with our state, county, and district officials to put safety measures in place to protect our staff, students, and families. However, please note that the COVID-19 pandemic has not gone away completely and that there will be cases throughout our county as people gather and assemble, including in schools. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.

CVESD Live Event!
We invite you and your children to join us for our next Innovation LIVE! event, Engineering Helicopters, led by our teacher at the Innovation Station, Mr. Garcia. The event will take place this Friday, August 13 at 9 AM. During the event, students will take on the role of an aerospace engineer and learn about the science behind how propellers work and how they were inspired by household items. Then, they will have the opportunity to build their own paper helicopters along with Mr. Garcia. Finally, they will be able to participate in a live Kahoot! game together. Please see the attached flyers for more details.
