This is a courtesy notice: Today, the District learned an individual at school tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19. This individual is currently in isolation. Due to privacy laws, information regarding this individual’s identity cannot be released. Please respect this individual’s privacy.
Please note that we work diligently with our state, county, and district officials to put safety measures in place to protect our staff, students, and families. However, please note that the COVID-19 pandemic has not gone away completely and that there will be cases throughout our county as people assemble.
If you have not already been notified that you/your child is a close contact, at this time, you/your child are NOT considered a close contact with a person who recently tested positive for the virus.
Please read the attached letter from Dr. Sherry Colgan-Stone regarding an individual who tested positive for COVID-19 recently and was on Allen’s campus.
