Hello Eagles, Ms. Garcia here with your Sunday information for December 1, 2019.
This Friday, December 6th is our Family First Friday for a cup of something warm like coffee and tea from 8:15-9:15. Meet your student council members and pick up a Community Connect Bag. This was the service project our Student Council worked on with 6 other schools. These bags can been kept in your car and when you see a community member in need of cheering up with some basic necessities, please give it to them on behalf of Allen School Student Council. Our Family First Fridays are also a good time to mix and mingle with each other.
Our Variety Shows are coming up. Please reserve December 11th and 12th for the Broadway at Allen Variety Show! Shows start at 6:00PM.
We understand that cold and flu season is upon us. Please make sure to let us know if students are absent due to illness. These are considered excused absences. We also understand that the holiday season is upon us. Please make sure to keep travel during our Winter Break which starts after school on December 20th and runs through January 14th (a Minimum Day). Any absences not due to illnesses or medical appointments are considered unexcused. Classroom teachers are finishing up important academic units, doing assessments for report cards, and have some fun things planned, so we want to make every minute count!
