It’s Sunday!

Hello Eagles, Ms. Garcia here with Sunday information for the week of November 17, 2019.

Family Math Night is almost here! Please make sure you are ready for some fun Math games to play together as a family on Wednesday, November 20th. Join us in the auditorium, and a bunch of classrooms in the Kindergarten, 200, and 300 building classrooms with your teachers between 5:00-6:30.

Ms. Farlow is holding tryouts on December 10th AND 11th after school from 3:30-4:30 PM.  Students must attend BOTH tryout days and students who were on the team last year, MUST tryout again. Practices will be held Monday’s, Tuesday’s, and Wednesday’s after school and games are Wednesday’s or Thursday’s at 4 PM. The season runs from Jan-March 2020.  Requirements include being an upper-grade male or female student (4th-6th grade) and in good academic standing.

In other sports news, Allen Eagles are in 2nd place and are having our Playoff Game Wednesday (11/20) at 4 PM against the 3rd place team, Tiffany Elementary. Come out and support!

A reminder, Thanksgiving Break starts Monday November 25th. Students return Monday, December 2nd.

Thank you for all your tissue donations! Student Council members will be meeting with the other schools’ Student Councils on Monday to put the Community Connect Bags tomorrow. We will keep you posted on the entire project and how much we collected. We will let you know when and where the bag are available to you to reach out to our community members.

PTC is meeting Monday at 6:00 in Room 404 and School Site Council is meeting Thursday, November 21st at 3:30 in Room 405. Please join us for both meetings.
