Hello Eagles, Ms. Garcia here letting you know that Student Council is collecting single pack Kleenex (or other brand) tissues in partnership with Cohort Schools (Hedenkamp, Casillas, Loma Verde, Juarez Lincoln, Kellogg, and Harborside Elementary Schools) Community Connect service project. The purpose of the collection is to create care packages for people in need. Families at each school can pick up one bag and keep until they find someone in need (i.e. military veteran, homeless, foster child, elderly adult, etc.). All the Student Council members from each of the schools will get together to assemble the bags and distribute them to the Cohort Schools on November 18th to spread a little love in our communities.
We are collecting tissue packs from today November 4th through November 13th.
