The principal at Sunnyside, Robert Cochran, has graciously invited parents of English Language Learner students to a presentation from a CVESD District Coordinator of Language Acquisition about the upcoming English Language Proficiency Assessment (ELPAC). Please take advantage of this invitation and learn from an expert in this assessment.

Dear Parents,
You are invited to Sunnyside’s English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC) meeting on January 25th, 2018 from 8 – 9 in the morning in the Sunnyside Auditorium. You are receiving this letter because your child is an English Learner and will be taking the ELPAC assessment this spring.
Ms. Patricia Pimentel, District Coordinator of Language Acquisition will be coming to share information concerning this new assessment, English Language Development standards, and how these differ from the prior assessment and standards.
Translation will be provided.
Refreshments will be provided.
