I would like to say thank you to all our Veterans past and present for your service as we observe this Veterans’ Day. As I reflect on this day each year, these words of John F. Kennedy come to mind, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” Please take the time to show Veterans our gratitude today and every day.
- There is no school tomorrow November 12th in observance of Veterans Day. School resumes with a regular day on November 13th.
- Student Council has teamed with the Chula Vista Elementary School District to support a canned food drive. We only have a few days to collect as much canned and bagged food that we can. The food will help families in our own community. Please bring food into the office.
- Mrs. Rechif has entered Allen School in the Chula Vista Starlight Parade, so mark your calendars for December 1st. The theme will be Polar Express and students and families will wear their pajamas. More information will come out soon.
- The Allen Eagle Kickball Team will play Muraoka Elementary at 4:00 this Wednesday. Go Eagles!
