School Site Council has a meeting on Wednesday, September 12th at 3:30 in Room 405. These are open and public meetings. The agenda will be posted in the Office on Tuesday.
Student Council has a meeting on Thursday at lunch.
Thanks to all the parents that came out for our Family First Friday this past Friday. The coffee and conversation is always welcome! Our next Family First Friday will be when we return from break on October 12th from 8:15-9:15.
Finally, Parent/Teacher conferences begin this Thursday and we will be on minimum days through next Friday, September 21st. The conferences this fall will be a little different. Teachers will share beginning of the year information on your child’s assessments and learning with you. Then, you will have an opportunity to share strengths and set goals for your child together with the teacher. You will not get a traditional report card this quarter as in the past, but you will get a copy of the conference form you and your child’s teacher worked on together. You will get your child’s first report card in December. Please let me know if you have any questions.
