First, I want to thank you for following our new dismissal procedure. This new procedure has allowed us to maintain a quiet learning zone for our children. As a reminder, we are asking you to remain outside the gates until they open at 3:05. Then we ask that you wait in the Allen Commons (the main courtyard) until dismissal, keeping hallways near classrooms totally free. Kinder parents, if you have a child also dismissing at 3:10, we ask that you pick up children at the ramp gate near kinder and exit until the gates open in the front or at Daly Academy.
Tomorrow, we will have our Volunteer Orientation at 9:05 am Room 404. All those interested in volunteering here at school are invited and encouraged to attend. Before volunteering at school, you will need a current TB test on file as well as a 2017-18 volunteer form. If you currently have a TB test on file, you may check with Michelle in the office to see if it is still valid. Both forms must be turned in together. We look forward to seeing you here.
Our fundraiser kick-off assembly will be this Friday. Look for materials coming home with your child. Thank you in advance for your support of this fundraiser. Proceeds help support our school in so many areas.
Please take a few moments to take the survey about topics you are interested in learning about in upcoming parent learning sessions and Coffee Chats with the Principal. It was sent to you via email or you can find a link to the survey on our school blog. Our first Coffee Chat with the Principal is on August 24th at 8:00 in Room 201. We have supervision on the playground, so students can head on out.
Additionally, I sent an email out to you for voting in our parent representatives for SSC and DAC/DELAC. It is critical that you take the time to vote. If you do not receive email from us, we will have paper ballots in the office.
