Information for the week of February 6th, 2017

We had a great success our Trek for Technology on January 27th. We need to thank Tracy Salguero, Lavonne Danley, and all the wonderful family volunteers that came out to make it such a great success. Not only did we get great exercise and have fun but we also raised nearly $4,500 for technology for our school. Way to go Team! Allen Eagles, together we are strong…and fast!

And speaking of getting our hearts pumping with great exercise, next week on February 16 we will have our Jump for Heart event. Look for permission slips coming home this week. If you child will be jumping rope, they must have a signed permission slip. You are welcome to donate to the American Heart Association either by cash, check, or on-line. It is not necessary to give a donation in order for your child to jump. More information is on the permission slip.

Share your thoughts with us via ‘ThoughtExchange,’ an on-line learning process to help us better understand what is important to you. Our dialogue through ThoughtExchange enables us to hear more about your concerns as well as the things you appreciate about our schools and District. Please prioritize a few moments of your time to contribute to the success of our educational system by providing feedback that will better inform our decision-making. If you do not get an email from CVESD, you can always register online on the following links.
