It was so great to see all the kids back after Break. It’s amazing to see how so many of them have grown just in 3 short weeks. Speaking of breaks, remember that Monday, January 16th there is no school in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It will be a regular school day on Tuesday.
Extended Day for those students enrolled, will begin this week. You should have received a notice or an email from me noting the teacher, dates and times. I may need to make some class changes, but those will not occur until the week of January 23rd. I will contact you directly if there is a change. In the meantime, please send students to the classes I have communicated to you about previously. For those classes after school, please make sure to pick up your students promptly at the end of class as there is no supervision for students after the program. Thank you for all your efforts in having your children participate in this very worthwhile program.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all the families that collect and bring in BoxTops for the school along with Mrs. McCallister for continuing to organize and submit them. We received a check for almost $350.00 for this past submission. So please keep sending them in, they do add up!
Finally, we have our Trek for Technology coming up on Thursday, January 26th. Information went home before the Winter Break. We hope to make this a great success as all proceeds will be used to purchase technology for our school.
