Back to School

Hello Allen Families!

We hope you are having an enjoyable summer!  We have a few reminders regarding the upcoming school start.

VERIFICATION OF RESIDENCY
If you have not completed the mandated Verification of Residency process, please come into the office on Monday between 8-4pm.  You must present one current document to verify your residency before school starts.  An example of documents is:  SDG&E, Water, Sewer, Trash, Cable, Pay Stub.  The bill must have a date of May 27 or later on it and not be past due. If you have a question of which document you can use, please call the office at 479-3662.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT 7/22
The PTC will sponsor a Back to School night on Tuesday, July 22 from 5 to 7pm.  There will be school tours for new students.  Hot dogs and snacks will be sold.  The proceeds will benefit the six grade class.  Class lists will be posted about 6:30pm.  This is a fun night to come out and catch up with your Allen School friends….and meet some new ones!  This is also a great time to meet our new principal, Ms. Sisi Garcia.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 7/23
Wednesday, July 23 2014 is the first day of school.  This will be a minimum day.  K-3 will dismiss at 1:40 and 4-6 at 2:00.

BACK TO SCHOOL PACKETS
You should be receiving a packet on the first day of school filled with various information and forms.  Please make sure to review the packet and send back any necessary forms with your child on Thursday.
